Thoroughly enjoyable. A thoroughly enjoyable book about the author’s attempt to learn sufficient Spanish to give a best man’s speech to an Anglo/Spanish audience. Surprisingly different I expected to be reading another ‘my funny experiences’ in Spain, in the ‘Two Old Fool’s style.I was refreshingly surprised to be reading a potted history of Spain and it’s regions. With a race against time to become fluent in Spanish as a thread running through the book.Funny, informative, easy to read and thoroughly enjoyable.
